SDI farrowing crates promote health and safety for the sow and litter. The SDI Standard Crate was designed with an independent crush bar and a contoured finger bar that allows more space for the sow to lay down during feeding.

Features

• Frame: SDI uses 7/8” solid rod in the manufacturing of the side, front, and rear gates, making it one of the most durable farrowing crates on the market. The front and back doors mount to the floor allowing for a sturdier crate and for easier installation.
• Anti-crush bar: The independent anti-crush bar, a 7/8” solid round bar, provides the right amount of resistance to allow the sow to lay down safely when feeding.
• Contoured Finger bar: Allow the sow more comfort and space to lay down when nursing with the contoured finger bar while allowing more safety for the litter. Fingers are welded onto the contoured finger bar.
• Rump Gate: Rump plate available in various material options. The rump bar is bolted on the rump gate, the 7/8” solid bar promotes safety of the litter when the sow lies down.
• Sow Feeders: Head gates are manufactured to mount SDI’s industry leading sow feeders.
