SD Industries is proud to inform you that we have been expanding over the last few years. Below is a brief summary of the 4 companies under SDI and how we are looking to the future to streamline our ability to serve our Dealers and Customers. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about any of the business adventures under SDI.
MAK Logistics: MAK is our logistics company. Tammy Nelson handles all the shipping needs and works with our company drivers to insure that our loads are delivered on time and secured. We currently operate 2 commercial trucks and own several trailers. In addition, we work with several commercial carriers to transport product directly to the job sites as new facilities are being built and others refabricated. Please feel free to call Tammy if your shipping plans change. She will do her best to accommodate your needs. Tammy can be reached at Tammyn@sdimfg.com or 605-239-4291
NSF: New Standard Fabricators was developed as a specialty division for specialty products outside of the hog industry. Several of our Dealers request hardware and other items to meet their particular construction need that either are not stainless, or that need special attention to detail. Schane Schuh is heading up the NSF division and has over 20 years of experience as a draftsman and quality control manager. Please keep NSF in mind for any specialty needs. Schane can be reached at Schane@sdimfg.com or by phone at 605-239-4291
Sharp Industries: We are currently building a 20,000sf manufacturing plant in Alexandria for the manufacturing of stainless steel doors for both the hog and medical industries. The doors will be insulated with a blown urethane process that adheres directly to the door during the urethane expansion process. This process helps to eliminate the separation due to intense heat and cold. We are excited for this division to start. Over the last few months we have been working diligently to get the building up and concrete poured before the winter sets in. We are anticipating this plant to be functional in January of 2014. We have also hired a new GM for the plant with anticipation of him coming on board in the early part of January. He has an extensive background in metal fabrication and design. We will keep you posted as this new entity comes on board. If you have any questions please contact Brian Stork at email@example.com or by phone at 605-239-4291
SDI International: SDI currently markets into 10 various countries. To accommodate the hog industry growth, both in Mexico and Canada, SDI International was formed to better service these Dealers. SDI International will continue to look for ways to expand into these and other markets. In the near future, SDI International hopes to add a sales representative that can help our Dealers service their clients and expand on product needs that are unique within their particular region. They will be a direct link to inform our dealers in these countries of what SDI has to offer and why we are offering them. If you have any needs or questions about our foreign trade markets please contact Michael Ulrich, National Sales Manager at Michael@sdimfg.com or by calling 605-239-4291
